Before you take the next step

Program fit & commitment

GAP House is a voluntary, Christ-centered sober-living program for women age 18 and older, with a one-year discipleship and accountability commitment. Children do not reside at the home. Each application is reviewed individually based on readiness, program fit, and available capacity. GAP House does not accept sex offenders.

Medication, health, legal-history, and daily-life questions are discussed privately during the interview. Participation includes accountability, random drug screens, and the program Covenant.

Fees & payment options

The $100 application/intake fee is due at application. Venmo, check, and cash are accepted; contact staff for exact payment instructions. There are no recurring program, room/board, or transportation fees. Payment does not guarantee admission.

What to prepare & bring
  • Photocopies of your photo ID, Social Security card, and birth certificate, provided only through staff’s approved process
  • Accurate contact and emergency-contact information
  • Honest information about recovery, health, legal history, and support needs
  • Modest, clean clothing in good condition with appropriate coverage and no lewd pictures or language
  • No tobacco products; any medication brought must be in a clearly marked prescription bottle
How application review works
  1. Prepare and submit. Review the application, gather required documents, and contact staff for the approved submission method.
  2. Review and interview. Staff reviews individual fit and conducts a phone and/or in-person interview. Expect a 24–48-hour application response; ask staff about availability and timing.
  3. Approval and move-in. Staff arranges a move-in date after approval. An application is not a promise of admission.
Privacy & data care

Do not send Social Security numbers, medical details, legal history, or identity-document copies through an unprotected website form. Contact staff for the approved submission method. Information shared for admissions should be limited to people who need it for the review.

Program terms

Participation is voluntary and subject to program expectations, capacity, individual review, and signed program documents, including a Covenant and Release of Information where applicable.
